The property had appliances if required and good location

− The apartment was extremely hot! With only one fan, the whole apartment is in need of a good lick of paint to spruce up tired areas.

Brilliant location for what we needed

− A few very small bits, no tin opener, carpets needed some attention and we couldn't get the towel rail to work.

Pleasant stay with minor snags.

Near to local amenities, shops, restaurants etc. Quieter than expected for a flat above shop on high st.

− Very steep stairs. Shower gel provided but the dispenser wasn't secured to the wall by screws so fell off. And there was no shower gel in it anyway! The blinds in bedrooms had seen better days. Very hard to pull down and they were needed due to some bright security lights on other buildings.

Okay but could have been better.

1.Very spacious and clean. 2.well furnished with comfortable couch and dinning chairs. 3.Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. 4.Ample supply of things otherwise not supplied in many Airbnb eg kitchen towel, tea, coffee, milk sachets, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, extra toilet papers, salt, cooking oil , washing liquid and clean scotchbrite & kitchen towels. 5.There’s WiFi and a telly in both the living room and bedroom.

− On opening the front door we were met by a bin bag which smelled so bad ( I think used by the previous customer). It was infested with so many flies. We were not sure whether to proceed in or not. We ended up looking for somewhere to dispose it off ourselves as it was late and we were tired we needed to get in and rest. 2.The flat is on 1st floor but unfortunately the windows are not child proof especially the living room/ kitchenette area in fact an adult could go through the window. As hot as it was we couldn’t open the windows and there were no fans. We roasted inside as we had a toddler we couldn’t risk. 3.There’s not a single door with a lock except the front door even the toilet door doesn’t have one. Even if you wanted privacy in the bedroom or toilet you can’t have. It’s hard to keep an inquisitive toddler out of the toilet all the time. 4.The flat was clean although one of the single beds seemed like bedding was not changed . You could see dirt on the pillow and sheets . Luckily we only needed one so used the other one which seemed cleaner. We had to clean the toilet before using it as it wasn’t very clean especially the seat. Bedside tables were quite dusty. 5.The hot water in all the taps is extremely hot. I’m sure it has a way of being regulated to a temp that doesn’t pose burns risk.

Great, convenient, and warm

Heating was excellent when I visited during the freezing temperatues. Sofa was very comfortable. It was great to have a washing machine and dishwasher if I needed them.

− Parking wasn't amazing, but having stayed at another property nearby previously I knew there was free parking reasonable closeby. Onstreet parking is restricted to 1hr
