Whimsy and rejuvenating magic in the mountains
10.0The caravan was well equipped with a functional kitchen for self catering (a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, hot/cold water etc). The sleeping area was supplied with a heater, fan and electric blankets to stave off the dipping nighttime mountain temperatures. Lulled to sleep by the patter of rain from the overhanging trees, I enjoyed one of the best nights’ rest I’ve had in years! We loved the whimsy and attention to detail: the twinkling string lights, the painted caravans, quaint garden setting for each caravan, the tiny verandas with matching chairs, the unique light fittings, antique cast iron stoves… there was lots to explore & our curiosity was piqued! This is an avant garde, refreshing and relaxed stay in beautiful Clarens. Thank you to our host for the warm welcome, readiness to assist (with everything including dining and breakfast reccs even before we checked in) and the generous hospitality!
