No communication back from the building agent on the day I arrived when I asked about the TV remote and getting a fan. T
4.0Location is good because you’re opposite Stockwell tube station. The fridge works. The bathroom is good enough and the place was clean. Towels provided were clean. Stockwell is on the Northern line and Victoria line so very handy for London sites. Lidl’s is very close as are small convenience shops. You have an Irish music pub on the ground floor next door but it’s only open Friday to Sunday nights. I wasn’t there for that….hopefully it’s not overly loud.
− To contradict myself: the location is bad because you’re opposite Stockwell tube station. The main road below is busy with hard revving drivers and noisy idiot motorcycle riders showing off until about 1am. On both nights the homeless guys at the station shout constantly and one mentally ill guy circled the bus stop opposite shouting at cars until 2am. There is no fan so the windows must be open in the summer. The wardrobes have no hangers (so what’s the point of having them there?) The TV remote was missing so again why have a TV you can use? The mattress is too soft and lumpy and if you don’t sit on the bed right the slats underneath move and fall out and you’ll be rebuilding the bed. No USB charging points so bring your own. Building agent didn’t reply to my requests by email, text or WhatsApp. Says it all really.
