Impeccable view next to Moutsouna center

Modernized old house with impeccable view of sea and neighboring islands. Short walk to Moutsouna center. Well equipped with what you need. Good WiFi and digital-TV. Large front balcony, but as important side and back balcony/terrace in shade when sun was too strong. Very helpful and flexible host.

− Would have been nice with dishwasher, but not a big issue for us.

Our reason to return to Naxos

In short, it was possibly the nicest stay we've ever had. It's an entire small house, so there's a lot of space to spread out. I'd recommend at least a 3-day minimum. We wish we had a week there. The view from the deck is epic. It's a little up the hill, so there are sweeping views of the hills and across the water to the islands. Having a field of sheep across the road was a bonus. The 7-minute walk to the 3 tavernas in the village takes you past a nicely a stocked mini market and a great donut shop. The two good-sized bedrooms had lots of closet and drawer space and comfortable beds. The pull-down screens on the doors and windows let us keep them open at night. The owner, Kyriaki (Sandy), was super helpful, both at arrival and whenever we needed assistance or advice. She turned us on to a sweet taverna in Apeiranthos called Mpakalógatos (Bakalogatos) that we kept going back to. I could go on and on, but in short, if you're in Naxos for more than a few days, you don't need to be in Houra, and this place is available - grab it. You will thank me later.

− The 100 switchbacks from Houra/Naxos Town can be daunting if you've never driven in rural Greece before. I got used to them and actually miss the drive. The views are spectacular

Relaxing with the sound of the sea

In the quiet beach town Moutsouna the white House was situated between the sea and a beautiful landscape of hills and the mountains in the back. We loved it very much. Especially the terrace with the sound of the sea, the bells of sheep and the voices of the goats from the hill. Quiet, very tastefully styled and with all equipment you need in the kitchen. And very nice Hosts. Thank you! We had a very relaxing time!

Spacious rooms and terraces. Great comfort and awesome views. Easy communication with very hospitable host. Moutsouna is a lovely place to stay!
