Felt like a home from home. The decor was lovely and there was a good range of amenities especially the welcome pack. The beds were so comfy, I think I had some of the best nights sleep of my life. The location was fantastic, definitely would book to stay here again.

Comfortable, cosy, relaxed, great base for the Dumfries and Galloway area

Spotlessly clean. Compact but very well equipped kitchen. Free parking in street. Pretty back garden with furniture and equipped BBQ. Goodies e.g. coffee, tea, milk etc on arrival. Efficient heating. Walk in shower. Good location and Kirkcudbright very pretty town. Thoughtful touches e.g. night light in second bedroom, beach towels! Host, Lorna, attentive e.g. sorted a problem with the oven seal promptly and without inconvenience.

− The step down from hall to lounge is a trifle tricky. A grab rail of some type would help greatly for the less mobile. The property is absolutely perfect for two but might be a little tight for a family of four.
