Compact and convenient appartment in Lorach
8.0The apartment was quiet and conveniently located for the Swiss border near Riehen. Off-street parking is available. Apartment was small, but had everything needed for a short stay. The manager, Dogen, was very helpful. The internet was good.
− There was a single bedsheet on the double bed! Accessing the keys was problemmatic and time consuming.

9.0Sehr gute Lage, hübsches, ebenerdiges Appartment direkt an der Schweizer Grenze (die Endhaltestelle des Trams ist zu Fuß in weniger als fünf Minuten erreichbar), aber nachts ruhig. Geräumig, das Zimmer bietet alles, was man für einen mittellangen Aufenthalt braucht. Eine Küchenzeile mit zwei Herdplatten und einer Mikrowelle und dafür ausreichend Kochgeschirr. Das Bad ist geräumig genug. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter.
− Um im Bett zu lesen, ist das Licht viel zu schlecht - eine brauchbare Nachttischlampe wäre nicht übel. Das Schlüsselkästchen zu finden, erfordert auch mit oder vielleicht gerade wegen der Beschreibung viel Spürsinn. Und die Kindersicherung am Herd ist lästig, wenn man nicht damit rechnet (und das auch noch morgens vor dem ersten Kaffee ...) Aber abgesehen von diesen Kleinigkeiten alles prima! Jederzeit gerne wieder!
Warm, cosy apartment right on the border
9.0Warm, well-equipped studio flat right next to the border with a fridge. We ended up doing a Lidl mission and bought enough for breakfasts for the whole time, which saved us a lot of money. The host was super-responsive and the wifi was great. Good shower, good pressure, no leaks.
− The coffee machine - recommend getting a nespresso machine as the espresso is very weak. But then we live in Portugal, where the coffee expectations are Italian! There was often a smell of smoke in the corridors I would recommend simply installing a lockbox for the entry, it would be more straightforward.
