8.0Beautiful quiet place. Nice, tidy appartment with 2 toilettes/showers. Good communication. Lift.
− Microwave oven was out of order, because the plate was broken. Poorely equipped with dishes: only to casseroles for cooking, and a frying pan which didn't work on induction. No smaller plates, glasses only for wine. Cigarette smoke coming from neighbouring balcony.

− They gave me wrong entry code, so i had to help by nighbours who made me favor. No contact, no crew. At the next day, the key didn't work. Twice at 4 days we remaind with two babies outside for an hour, with no help. Even booking.com's customers service didn't reach them. By the way, the flow in the shower is weak, and the beds aren't comfortable. Not recommended.
All in all a good stay but with some problems
6.0We stayed in apt.#2. The appartment is really nice, spacious rooms, beds are good, linen included. Two bathrooms, each with a shower & toilet. There was toilet paper and towels. Kitchen is not very big but good enough, a lot of dishes and cutlery. A dishwashing liquid dispenser. Small balcony off the double bedroom. Beautiful views. There is an elevator which was a really good suprise.
− Location - outside Titisee Neustadt (5-10 min. drive) Countryside surroundings - very dark roads at night. In the dark you cannot see the sign from the road, it took us quite a while to find the place and the correct entrance. The appartments are located within a guesthouse/motel but are rented seperately by a differnt owner as I was explained on site. This was a bit confusing for us upon arrival, and took us a while to reach someone on the phone. Most phone numbers listed are umanned at night and the automated anouncement is only in german. - In the reservation confirmation it states "Please follow the instructions in the house rules, which are available in the apartment" - there is no such thing in the appartment. - WIFI IS HORRIBLE in addition to very bad cellular reception (which makes cellular internet also useless) - Amenities: Fridge is a small one. Some of the cookware was not suitable for the induction stovetop. When we arrived there was not a single pad of coffee for the machine (Senseo, but no possibility to use the thick pads like capuccino) or a single tablet for the dishwasher. No salt or oil or handsoap. Normally in appartment rentals it is cutomary to have those things at least for the beginning and it felt very unwelcoming. - Cleanliness: seemed pretty clean other than the balcony. Yet while picking something up we did come across a lost item left by previous guests, so obviously the cleaning is not very thorough.

9.0Nearly everything was Ok. We had a washing and drying machine as we didn't expect. Bathrooms were ok and very clean, also the kitchen was excellent with all amenities.
− The WiFi was very bad in the bedroom as the WiFi unit was much away from it.
Guests staying for at least 2 nights receive a Hochschwarzwald Card (Black Forest Tourist Card). This offers discounts on over 70 leisure activities, attractions and a ski pass for the Feldberg ski resort in the Black Forest area. Please inform the property of the age of any children who are coming as this will affect the tourism tax. There is a box on the next page where this can be done. After receiving your booking confirmation, you will also receive a form for you to send back to the accommodation. This is to register for the Hochschwarzwaldkarte leisure pass.
