Perfect location for Drake with lovely balcony

Perfect location in Drake, easy access to the beachfront for boat pick-ups, the sendero for beach hike and all the restaurants walking distance. Lovely balcony to relax and where you can see many types of birds - including once we got lucky with an aracari (toucan endemic to Osa). Kitchen is good for simple things like to prepare delicious fruits from the shop next door but wouldn't plan for any complicated dishes (one gas burner). We were comfortable here for five days.

− Didn't take away from our enjoyment of the balcony but the balcony chairs were a little dusty and could do with a wipe/sweep out there. A few small improvements would make this place even more comfortable - like a little cloth or towel for wiping up around the sink/kitchen area and a small bedside light for reading at night (as the main lights are extremely bright).

I stayed in the casita, a simple little house, with a balcony, ensuite and a small kitchen. I had all i needed for my 5 nights The house cools down at night, so that I didnt even need the fan. But most of all it felt like a Costa Rican homestay. Manuel and his family were such amazing hosts, helpful whenever needed, around for a chat or to provide information. His daughter Samanta helped organise the tours and taxi for me. I also did two tours with Manuel as he is a certified guide, an amazing one, lots of experience and knowledge on flora and fauna, and on top very funny.

Destacaría la amabilidad de toda la familia, fueron muy amables y acogedores. Nos dieron indicaciones muy valiosas para disfrutar al máximo de Bahía Drake! Muy bien situado y el alojamiento cubre todas las necesidades. Especial mención a Manuel, Samantha y Antonela por sus recomendaciones y simpatía! Esperamos volver pronto! Muchas gracias!

I love how close the house is to everything, yet it is sort of being swallowed by plant life so it’s quite secluded.

− The climate here is very very hot and humid and there is no AC in the apartment. It works out ok because there is a fan, without which I would have simply melted. It’s quite comfortable, you just need to be prepared for the heat.

Estuvo cerca de la playa, del supermercado, del todo. Tenía un pequeño patio, dónde se podía uno sentar. Una cocina básica con una pequeña nevera.

Ich bin durch das Foto und die Beschreibung Bungalow mit Gartenblick auf die Unterkunft aufmerksam geworden. Es gibt aber 2 Unterkünfte auf dem Grundstück und es ist irreführend. Der Bungalow ist sehr schön und hat einen Balkon, meine Unterkunft nicht. Es gibt einen Bereich wo man draußen sitzen kann und die Vermieter waren freundlich, ich konnte schon morgens um 10 einziehen.

− Das Fenster im Schlafraum hat keinen Mückenschutz, kein Regal oder Schrank. Die Unterkunft liegt unter dem Haus der Eigentümer und ist dunkel, alt und lieblos. Ich habe mich nicht wohl gefühlt
