I didn't stayed in the property nor went to Wuhan because the owner of this apartment tried to scam me. I get to write a review because Booking not only did not help me, nor blocked the property for scam nor prevented my money being withdrawn from my account so here we are

− This was a non-refundable reservation. The owner of the property wanted me to pay through Wechat, eventhough I told him that payments should be performed through the Booking platform. The he sent me a Wechat QR code to forward the payment but the invoice was 200 yuan higher than my booking. I reported this scam and request to perform the payment out of the booking platform o Booking support. Booking rather than help me, supported the owner of the hostel because it was a non-refundable booking so there was nothing they could do.... This makes no sense independently of the scam situation because first and foremost, if I pay my booking through a different platform, Booking.com would had charged me for the booking on my credit card anyway so I would had paid twice

Location was in the city, TV placement was great, water heater and AC worked well, fridge was available, convenient trash bins around the room. Comfortable couch

− Bathroom was especially dirty (lots of water stains on the doors and handles) sink was yellow, bathroom floor was dirty, saw one cockroach, hair clippings on the bathroom counter. Bathroom towels were also dirty, asked them for a change and they said there were extra ones hanging to dry near the window. Bad communication from the host, almost cancelled my booking twice and didn’t give proper directions on how to find or get to the property. Kitchen was the worst part, oil stains on the pans and cooker, dusty dishware below the sink, fridge was working but dirty. All soap around the apartment was not filled up and had stains on the bottle. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable, and the desk had stains and dust. Walls were stained and pictures were very crooked, like an earthquake had occurred. Room was not clean at all. Felt like I invaded the cockroaches house instead.
