9.0Beautiful views from the property. Complimentary bottle of local wine and nibbles were very welcoming. Guest card enabled multiple use of Gondola to access restaurants and scenic walks. Apartment was very clean with all the necessary facilities. Host contacted us beforehand on WhatsApp with advice on best way to travel using motor transport and was ready when we arrived. Good internet access.
− We also chose this location as a central place to tour recommended places in Switzerland. However, the quickest and easiest way to these places often involved using the car transporter train which was fun, but the cost of 27CHF each way was like a road toll, although it saved on fuel. We did use the Grimsel Pass once (which is also fun and should not be missed) but much longer and quite tiring. If using a car for touring the cost of using the car transporter should be included in your costing.
