Good value for money and very clean, but basic and lacking natural light

Very clean and well kept, with good, reliable air conditioning. The location is convenient, close to good-value restaurants (O Meu Quintal and Sete Mares) and supermarkets with bakeries. There is also a buggy rental shop right next door, which we used. It is very reasonably priced compared to most accommodation on this expensive island and serves its purpose perfectly as a clean and comfortable place to sleep.

− The room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. It only had one window with frosted glass, so there was very little natural light coming in. The walls were thin and we could hear the people next door speaking throught the night. The shower was the worst part: the water pressure was very low, and it was difficult to control the temperature. We also felt that we should have booked somewhere with a pool, or at least a lounge area where we could spend some time during the day, as staying in the room was quite unpleasant due to the lack of natural light.

Muito bem localizada, perto de mercado e restaurantes. A 15 minutos de caminhada da vila dos remédios e do porto. Quartos super aconchegantes. Equipe muito receptiva. A Dona Laninha nos trata com empatia de sobra! Adoramos a estadia. Recomendo e muito essa pousada.
