Great city, amazing part of the city, I would upgrade though
8.0The staff were very helpful. It's quaint, and I needed a break from hotels at that point. The location is great, and I think I love that part of what I think is called West Lake in Huizhou. I booked another night in the city after this stay because I loved the difference Huizhou offered over Guangzhou, Shenzhen etc
− Very hard to find at first. The difference between the Chinese addresses and the English version doesn't help because it's down a lane and not a road. Chinese friends couldn't find it even with the Chinese characters.
Disappointing
4.0The staff were very helpful and courteous. Helped in booking transport to train station and even called driver to send me to the right location.
− The name and address on booking.com were totally wrong. Luckily, I had the presence of mind to seek help from a shop for help. Without the language proficiency, I doubt I could find the accommodation. It is inside a narrow lane. I was totally lost then.
