9.0Wir hatten das Haus für uns;Mark,unser Gastgeber,war unglaublich nett und freundlich;wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt!Das Frühstück konnten wir uns selbst machen in der Küche,alles war da! Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und ruhig ;der Weg nach Battle war ca 1,5 km entfernt;man konnte den Ort gut zu Fuß erreichen:)

9.0The location was great the bungalow was spotless a good selection of food was provided for breakfast the Mark was informative and pleasant even though I only spoke on the phone
− A few of the doors could do with a bit of attention as they were sticking and quite difficult to open and close

9.0Spacious and clean room and bathroom Host had provided loads of food for breakfast
− Nothing really, it was great May be provide the full address so sat nav knows where to go ie number 65 the echoes as against just the echoes, we had to crawl along to find it and it would have been very difficult in the dark

10.0A great home-from-home experience with a generous and friendly host - we would absolutely stay again. The accommodation is the entire ground floor of Mark’s home - fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms (a triple and a single) and a huge living room with TV (there’s a smaller second TV in the bedroom). Everything is comfortable and clean with thoughtful touches that make it feel really homely. Including breakfast of cereal, bread, jams and fruit with tea and fresh coffee. Unless you need something, probably the only time you’ll see Mark is when he goes through the hall to get to the private area upstairs - he was very discreet. This feels like the best of the old-fashioned B&Bs which sadly are very rare nowadays. Don’t miss your opportunity to stay.
