10.0This is a fabulous property, house and grounds maintained to perfection. Really comfortable bed, lots of quick hot water, and perfect room temperature. Nice to be able to make a mug of tea in the kitchen on arrival, and there were wee treat bars in the press! Breakfast included means there's a decent selection of breakfast foods left in the very spacious kitchen such as cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread, eggs, and beans to help yourself to in the morning. A lovely wee chocolate treat and bottled water left in our bedroom was a very nice surprise! This would be a perfect property to fully book out for a special family get together. The reception rooms and grounds are simply luxurious. The lack of ensuite bathrooms in a property of this otherwise 5 star standard is very surprising!
− 1 shared bathroom between all 4 bedrooms will always be a big disadvantage for individually booked B&B rooms, but it didn't really impact our stay as there was only 1 other guest who kept different hours to us late birds! Aside from this it's located a fair distance from town for going out, but the peace and quiet, the grounds, and the whole sense of living in luxury, would far outweigh a group needing a designated driver for nights out in Castleblaney! A chair in the bedroom would be nice.
