街道沿いの素晴らしい温泉一軒宿。宿泊するためにだけ行く価値があると感じた。
10.0霧社の「莫那魯道紀念公園」へ訪れる足がかりに一泊した。booking.comに掲載されてされているホームページに「温泉民宿」とあり興味をそそられ予約した。各部屋の風呂場に温泉湯が引かれていて、いつでも温泉に浸かれることに驚いたし、本当に素晴らしい温泉だった。部屋は広く、信じ難いほど掃除が行き届いていて清潔感にあふれた部屋でとても居心地が良かった。また庭が広く開放的で近くの山の眺望も自然豊かで綺麗だった。 当日はあいにく老闆が不在だったが、老闆のお兄さんが何から何まで親切に対応してくださった。外出の際に念の為とのことで野犬よけのブザーまで貸してくださった（幸いそれを使用する場面に遭遇しなかった）。翌日のバスの時間のことから運転手さんに行き先を告げる手書きのメモまで用意してくださって本当に色々と有り難かった。 台湾の山方面の観光では阿里山や日月潭が有名だが、「霧社事件」の現場であるこの地方を尊敬の気持を持って訪れることもおすすめしたい。その時にはぜひここの温泉一軒宿の利用を推薦したいです。
− 街道沿いの一軒宿という立地なため、すぐ近くに飲食店、商店がないので自動車移動でない人には制限があるが、埔里から出ているバスの「桂竹林」停留所が目の前にあり（徒歩1分）、バス利用でも問題なく到着できる。ただし、霧社方面と戻りの埔里方面のバスは本数が少ないので事前に調べておく必要があります。 あと、当日老闆が不在だったため、食事の用意がなく残念だったが、もしまた再訪する機会があれば次回はぜひ食事付きでお願いできたらと思った。

4.0溫泉水質不錯
− 規矩太多，訂房網上說可以臨櫃訂早餐，結果是勸退，房間有點小，蟲子很多
