7.0The place was clean and had a relaxing vibe. The showers have hot water and good pressure. The breakfast is decent. The staff are very friendly and have lots of info on activities in the area.
− The mosquitos here are the worst I’ve experienced. They were in my room and I got smashed every night even with repellent on. There is no soap in the bathrooms. There is no aircon so the room gets super hot. There was a small fan in my dorm bed but it was super loud and made the whole room vibrate so I couldn’t sleep with it on. The property is inside the ‘walls’ so it can be a bit annoying to get too. Although, the street is super quiet, there is a night market close by which makes up for the almost eerie quietness.

8.0We had a short but wonderful stay! The homestay is very nice and quiet. We had a private room with a private bathroom—it was spacious and clean. The bathroom is outdoors. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the breakfast menu changes and is good :) The homestay is located inside the city walls, so it's very quiet. You have to walk a bit to get out, but the location is still good—it's within walking distance of the nearest park, palace, and main tourist street.
− The room has “just” a fan, which is okay, but it does get very warm as a result. You can ventilate through the bathroom, but that just brings in a lot of mosquitoes.

9.0The place is beautiful, and so so so peaceful, a great contrast to Jogja's bustle. The people, the staff - agun, adit, all of them are gems! As for value for money, I'd give this place a 100 on 10.
− I'm not a huge fan of the location. Its a 2km walk to the center but solely because theres a wall in the middle of the city, it helped that i rented a bicycle.
