10.0Urraca Loca is a spectacular hostel. Accommodations, Food, Location and the staff have definitely exceeded the expectations. If I am ever coming back to Ometepe, I would love to stay there and enjoy this nature immersed hostel. Any question has always been effectively answered and recommendations for tours and rentals have always been available. Besides the marvelous staff, it was easy to get to meet other travelers and share each other's adventures and life stories. A million times recommended!!
− If I had to pick something that I would perhaps add on a (unlimited) budget, perhaps I would add something for entertainment like a pool, shuffle board or a baby foot kinda game. Maybe extending the dinner options, adding a booking system for the kitchen so that they might know in advance what people want. moreover, I think it would probably invite people to have more meals there and it could also be an opportunity for sharing a meal with fellow travelers.

5.0− Auberge surcotée, il n’y a rien de spécial pour justifier ce prix. Le personnel est super sympa mais relativement bruyant à toujours crier et rigoler, pas facile de se reposer dans les hamacs. C’est à se demander qui est le touriste ? De plus, il serait bien que quand nous cuisinions vous évitiez de passer le balai ça envoie de la poussière partout dans nos assiettes et verres.

10.0Loved our stay in the cutest jungle paradise! Room was basic but as described in reservation and all you need while on the island. You MUST try the banana bread, it was amazing 🤩

Great Location and Helpful Staff
10.0This is a great place to stay. I had a private room which would be great for solo or couples. Having hot water was nice. Dennis at the desk was very helpful arranging everything from scooters to tours. Great location being off the main road of Balgue but very close to restaurants and bars. Multiple areas to chill in hammocks. Drinking water was available. Highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
