9.0Location is beautiful and peaceful and a short drive from the start of the Abel Tasman walking track.. Our room had a terrace looking out over the rainforest. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
− Location is a bit isolated up a steep drive. OK if you have a car though. We had an en'suite room which was a bit small but it does say that in the listing.
Perfect base for exploring the northern corner of the South Island.
9.0Great location near Marahau and central to Kaiteriteri and Tākaka, Cape Farewell direction. Attractive bush environment, facilities well-designed and convenient. Economical (in off-season, at least).

Great getaway location
10.0We had a lovely stay here in our double en-suite room. The room itself was pristine and had a lovely balcony to sit on and listen to the birds whilst having our cuppa. Great to have tea and coffee facilities as well as the communal.kitchen. It was just a short drive to Marahua which is gorgeous and a great place to go kayaking from.or get the water taxi up the coast. Stuart gave us some great info on the area. The room itself was very comfortable. And although described as very small was bigger than some other places we had been. It was also good to have a big bed (very comfy too). I had a great sleep here, and the bedside cabinets were great. Much better than some decorative tiny tables we've had on our trip. Great place for stargazing too! If storage is an issue for you, just leave some stuff in your car.
