10.0Emplacement idéal en plein cœur de Funchal. Je suis arrivée tard donc n'ai rencontré personne mais la communication avec l'équipe est au top. L'hostel est bien équipé, agréable et propre !

It’s ok for a very short stay (1-2 nights tops) as it is very central but it felt all a bit narrow.

− The café is promoted as one of the best pros of the hostel, but the opening times are not so great. The room (in fact the private bathroom) was not so clean upon arrival.
It was fine, wouldn't stay again
6.0The air conditioning was great in the rooms! Location was well-situated. They provided a towel. Hostel was responsive by WhatsApp. Overall, seemed well-kept.
− My biggest complaint is that the attached cafe was only open from 9:30am-5:30pm. That's way too late for breakfast for me, especially trying to get out the door to go hiking, and then I was gone exploring all day and got back after 5:30 every day, so I never actually got to use it or meet any employees from the hostel. I wish I'd had someone to talk to about local activities/restaurants. In the same vein, there's no common area to hang out in, so it was hard to meet other travelers. In the room, the bed curtains weren't great, there wasn't easy access to an outlet, and the light at my bed didn't work. No parking available particularly close to the hostel. The nearest garage was the tightest, narrowest garage I've ever tried to park in, though of course that wasn't the hostel's fault. It made parking very stressful, though.

9.0The location was very good, right in the center of Funchal, the staff of the hostel was excellent, the best was the breakfast. The mattress is comfortable. The room and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Also I really appreciate the kitchen space which is light and well equiped.
− The lower part of the bunkbed is very low, so it's not comfortable to sit on it. The size of the room was ok, however there was not enough storage place.

8.0The hostel felt very homey, loved that it was connected with a cafe where you could get breakfast before it opened to the general public. The AC in the room was a lifesaver.
− The bunks weren't best choice for a hostel - they weren't very stable so everytime you moved on the bed, I'm not even talking about climbing up and down the upper bunk bed, the whole thing moved as well - not all that great if you're a light sleeper and people tend to leave the room early in the morning to go on hikes (I was the one getting up early and felt sorry for my roommates).
