The apartments are spacious; we made good use of the local charcoal grill and the terrace, where you can spend a pleasant evening. The kitchen is superbly equipped—you’ll find everything you need—though the frying pan could use replacing, since some guests clearly don’t realize that metal utensils shouldn’t be used. We liked the ample parking space. Nearby, by the river, there’s a beautiful pool for a morning dip (to wake up), but for a longer swim, head down to the lake. Nearby is the nice Poppenberg via ferrata and a rope park, as well as a cable car that takes you to the top of Höss, from where you can continue along a beautiful ridge trail. Otherwise, everything you can think of is within driving distance. Our only complaint was the poor water pressure from the on-site water supply. The water itself was very good.

Moc pěkné místo, v chatce je vše, co potřebujete, zahrada a okolí velmi krásné. Snadná komunikace s majiteli. Byli jsme už podruhé.

Significantly exceeded expectations - recommended

Accommodation significantly exceeded our expectations. It’s isolated fenced area of roughly 4 apartments which suited us well with little kids who loved running around and playing with tiny river that goes through the area and around chalets. We had superior apartment 2 which is basically one large room including bedroom, bathroom, fireplace, dining place. Then there is a hall with wardrobe and toilet/bathroom. Again, it’s possible to run circles through this setup which kids enjoyed. We enjoyed mix of old chalet design and modern equipment - very stylish, we even learned about new approaches to heating (top down radiation). Apartment is warm cosy and stylish with breathtaking views and Weber grill on terrace and private parking. Even though we didn’t meet in person personnel was very attentative, responded almost immediately and provided us with several extras without any additional costs that we really appreciated. No issues with baby high chair, crib and later checkout. To Hinterstoder ski you get in 6 minutes by car, that applies to groceries etc as well. For running trails you can go from chalet directly. Must be lovely in summer as well. Happy to come back anytime.
