Disappointing
4.0Location was great and property was clean on arrival.
− We were disappointed with our stay overall. There were very loud roadworks taking place directly outside the villa throughout our stay, which was never communicated to us before arrival. The electricity was also constantly cutting in and out, which became very frustrating. The villa was only stocked with a minimal number of towels and fresh bed linen, and no washing detergent tablets were provided, making it difficult to keep things clean during our stay. While we understand that bottled water is not usually supplied in self-catering properties, we arrived late at night after the shops had closed and found nothing available. Having a few bottles of water for late arrivals would have been a thoughtful touch. We were also charged an additional €90 because the rubbish had not been taken outside the property. Although this was mentioned in the pre-arrival documents, it's an easy detail to overlook. All of the rubbish had been neatly bagged and left inside the villa, so the charge felt excessive.
