Perfect om relaxdagen aan het zwembad af te wisselen met daguitstappen

De rustige ligging beviel enorm, mooi uitzicht op zee en fijne grootte privé-zwembad. Het domein is groter dan het op de foto's lijkt (en het lijkt al groot). Bij aankomst was de frigo gevuld met grote flessen water, fijn om alvast even vooruit te kunnen. Eigenaar komt elke morgen het zwembad reinigen en bomen in lager gelegen tuin verzorgen. Goede uitvalsbasis naar Etna, Taormina,...

− Zelf vond ik de helling van de toegang (zeker laatste stukje) een beetje eng met de auto, mijn echtgenoot had er geen problemen mee. Klein beetje jammer dat je bijna voor alles de auto moet nemen omdat het wat hoger gelegen is met steile hellingen. Geen bakker, winkeltje of restaurant in de directe omgeving (wel op 5min met de auto). Maar je krijgt er natuurlijk een rustige locatie voor in de plaats.

The view and wonderful spacious outdoor living space of the villa was a highlight. A beautiful pool, outside dining and lounging area makes it comfortable to live outdoors and enjoy the beautiful view and weather. The house is a charming authentic Sicilian home, which made us feel immersed in the culture and living like locals. The bedroom AC was essential and worked well and made sleeping comfortable. Our host Gianni and his wife were friendly and he popped by each morning at 7am to clean the pool and make sure we had anything we needed, but was never intrusive. The local town was charming and had everything that we needed. It's not a touristy area, but we felt welcome and enjoyed exploring the stores, restaurants and beach areas. It was very helpful to access to the laundry machine. There were 6 adults in the house, and we all felt very comfortable in the home. The outdoor/pool bathroom and shower were a bonus.

− While North Americans are accustomed to the entire house being air conditioned, only the bedrooms had AC which seems typical in the area. Once we adapted to this and kept the shutters closed during the hot days and windows open in the evening it was comfortable; and the windows and doors have screens which is great.

This is a stunning standalone house with a pool that it exceeded all expectations. The spaciousness of the property, combined with its tranquil neighborhood and breathtaking view, made for a truly memorable experience. The architecture of the house is stylish, and it is equipped with everything you could possibly need. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and helpfulness of the hosts, who made our stay even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this property enough. A perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway.

Amazing Villa with a lovely pool, stunning views and great hosts!

The Villa was beautiful, very spacious for the 6 of us with high quality furnishings and a lovely pool. There was a stunning view over the sea and the hosts were brilliant, giving us food when we arrived and fruit from their trees. A great base for visiting Taormina, Etna, Savoca etc.

Home away from home

A beautiful place to stay, this home is not lacking for anything. Chiara and her father were wonderful, from providing arrancinis the night we arrived to fresh fruit from the trees on the property. The property is spacious, has spectacular views and the pool was most welcome in the hot afternoons.

− It is a bit remote, about 10 minutes by car to reach the beachfront where there are stores & restaurants however that is offset by how quiet & peaceful it is at the house.
