Nous avons adoré l’extérieur de la maison. C’est calme, la vue est magnifique, il y a de la végétation à perte de vue… Une vraie bulle ! La maison en elle-même est très bien équipée. La literie est agréable. La maison est propre et on s’y sent tout de suite très bien. Le coin est très ensoleillé et même s’il faisait gris sur le reste de l’île, nous avions toujours beau en rentrant à la maison. La piscine est une véritable plus ! Après une journée de balade, elle est très agréable pour se détendre.

Uns hat wirklich alles gefallen an der Unterkunft. Es war sehr sauber und man hatte alles was man braucht. Die Aussicht war top und der Pool war sehr angenehm.

Unbedingt zu wiederholen, alles Bestens

C’était parfait dans cette maison très confortable avec tous les équipements nécessaires. La vue et la piscine sont vraiment un plus

− Rien de spécial, mais il faut préciser que le chemin d’accès est un peu compliqué en voiture

De rustige ligging te midden van de bananenplantages en het prachtige uitzicht op zee hebben ons enorm bekoord! Tegelijkertijd toch ook op goed haalbare rijafstand van de meeste bezienswaardigheden en wandelingen.

First visit to Madeira

The house is stunning with everything you need to make it a home away from home. Loved the pool which I don't think was heated but stayed a nice temperature even though we didn't have the best weather. Saw dolphins from the balcony one day! Useful having a washing machine in the utility. Loved the bedroom curtains, proper blackout so we were sleeping so well (even though I initially found the mattresses quite firm). Local cat visited us daily which we loved. Also fantastic location for exploring.

− The drive down is not for the faint of heart, definitely the scariest road I've ever driven on. You will want a car with power to drive up from the house to the road, but if you don't or don't fancy the drive you can park up on the road - only about a 5 min walk down to the house. Luckily we didn't ever meet anyone coming the other way! It does mean the house has one of the most beautiful positions though so it's only a small complaint. Also, we turned up at 3.30pm (check in being from 3pm) and the cleaner was still cleaning after the last guests. Then, as we were settling in and enjoying the pool, someone turned up to clean the pool. Only a small issue but after a long travel day we were just ready to enjoy the place!
