Exceptional location. You can truly cut off and relax. Beautiful riverfront property. Pool is great. Some wildlife activities are available as well, but great joy here is in doing nothing and just chilling, reading, swimming and eating delicious food!

− Mosquitoes are occupational hazard of a riverfront property. Keep repellent handy.

We have over 20 years of travel experience and have visited many countries, and the view from this lodge is unquestionably our number one. The organisation of the house and the surrounding area is beyond praise - everything is thoughtfully arranged and very well maintained. The pool is absolutely superb. We had been warned that there were many mosquitoes in this area, but in reality the situation was no different from most other tropical places and they did not cause us any particular trouble. The service is excellent - the team genuinely try their best and it shows. The boat excursion organised by the staff was also very good and well arranged. There are very affordable massages about 15 minutes from the lodge, though it is worth knowing in advance that there is no shower there. There are a few minor issues with the house itself, mainly a smell in some of the rooms, but nothing that would be a real blocker for a stay. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place for a calm and private getaway.

Cosa ci è piaciuto? TUTTO. La location immersa nella pace della natura, circondati dal fiume e i canti degli uccelli, la struttura curatissima e di gran gusto, lo staff eccezionale (che chef incredibile!!), sempre attento alle nostre esigenze e pronto a consigliarci, dalle escursioni nella natura al menù per i pasti. Avere uno spazio simile a nostra totale disposizione è stata una boccata d'aria lungo il nostro viaggio. Decisamente il miglior posto in cui abbiamo alloggiato e mangiato durante tre settimane in India, difficile trovare qualcosa di simile.

This was the perfect place to relax at the end of our trip. The property is beautifully furnished, with a large and clean pool, and was very spacious for the two of us. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. The staff were excellent and we enjoyed every meal that we had at the property.

− My only piece of constructive advice for other guests is that if you are keen on birdwatching then I would not recommend arranging this through the lodge. The guide they use is a lovely lady, but she doesn’t speak very good English and she’s 70+ which means her eyesight is slightly deteriorating! We saw the most birds when we bumped into other tour groups and their guides pointed them out.
