Could not have asked for anywhere better to stay. Much nicer than corporate hotels.

Beautiful, unique Villa. Josefi was amazing and answered our questions and dealt with any issues promptly (though not problems of her doing). There were so many unique parts, hand painted art. Lots of books of a wide variety. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore and very comfortable, home from home. Sit in pool with grecian urn with running water, bliss and music to the ears.

There was not anything we didn’t like.

Deal with the wasp invasion and it would be fabulous

4.0

This is a lovely, spacious property in the middle of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants, a local shop and the castle. We were lucky to find a parking space in the next street as the car parks are a bit of a trek. Easy communication with Josefi to meet at the house and get shown around (even though we got lost in the maze of little streets). Everything was very clean and tidy, the double bed was comfortable and having a washing machine was great.

I feel bad giving a low score but the wasps were horrendous and relentless and meant we couldn't really relax and use the outside space which was the main reason we booked this house in the first place. My husband got stung on his face when we were getting shown around the house, Josefi's husband was stung when he came to spray the top terrace. As a result we didn't dare use the upper two terraces at all and the downstairs patio only with caution as the wasps came to drink from the pool throughout the day. We sprayed about 100, most flew off to die elsewhere but we had a pile of about 30 which the ants liked to carry away. We sprayed the little nest inside the hosepipe reel and that seemed to stop them building that one at least. Thankfully we are not allergic to stings but it could be very serious for anyone who is. There were no 'basics' provided such as shower gel, washing machine tabs, tea and coffee. I appreciate it's not a given but we've stayed in AirBnB/private rentals in many countries and they usually have those. We knew about the stairs having no banisters but it would be a good safety precaution.

Incomodidad

4.0

.For a quiet stay for adults it was superb.I twin and a lovely dble room both ensuite bathrooms.Well equipped kitchen.Roof terrace with great views.Easy stroll to bars/restaurants.

Wouldnt recommend this property for very elderly guests .A lot of steep stairs and no safety railing. Not ideal for disabled or children under 12 or anyone with a pram or wheelchair. You need to be fit and able to walk well.
