Nice villa, and great views.

− No key on arrival, it was brought 45mins after our arrival. Not ideal. Water in the property ran out within 48 hours. Owner blamed previous occupants. Water was finally refilled after about 10 hours by truck. It again ran out in 24 hours. All other local villas had water and next door (identical villa) even offered us their shower facilities (embarassing to say the least). Finally water was filled up again only for it to smell like chlorine so much so that we had a very poorly child on the airplane on the way home. Owner completely refused to accept any responsibilty and we felt we were being spun a line each time we asked about the issues. Add to that, the pool was not cleaned and nor was the villa during our week and you can maybe see why we are very disappointed. £3100 spent in Greece can so easily be spent better. Shame, the villa would have been great but for the issues as detailed. Local guy Lorenco who came to try to assist was a star - no blame on him at all. We have travelled much of Greece in 30 years and this has by some margin been the worst time we've had. Incientally, asking for 500 euros in CASH as a deposit, whilst it was returned in full, is a little insulting. What did they think we were going to do?? Summery - could be great, though sadly lacking in finess and care when things aren't quite right. Look elsewhere would be my advice. Booking.com completely not intertested in the issues. Figures.
