…it was a super lovely, private and luxurious green oasis. The facilities are very well maintained (bungalows are being painted even once a year), the pool is beautiful and the bungalows are coming with great level of detail and dedication. The manager Dush and his sister are really going above and beyond and will make sure, you got a great stay. We rented a scooter for the time and had a great time scootering around the area and spend quite some time at the beach in Unwatuna (only 10-12 min. scooter ride from the bungalows). Thank you very much for everything!

Prachtige accommodatieis een jungle achtige tuin met fantastische service en ontbijt!

Een prachtige gelegen, kleinschalige accommodatie met 3 appartementen gelegen in een jungle achtige tuin met zwembad. Het personeel was fantastisch; zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam in alles. Ook serveren ze een heerlijk ontbijt! Het appartement heeft heerlijke bedden en een mini keukentje. Ook kun je buiten zitten onder de fan, wat we in de avond heel fijn vonden. Er leven allerlei dieren in de tuin, waaronder apen.

− De ligging is prachtig, maar het ligt wat verder van de doorgaande weg af. Daardoor is het erg rustig, maar ook wat lastiger te bereiken. Via de locatie kregen we de contactgegevens van een tuktuk driver, wat heel handig was. Daarmee was het prima opgelost.

Ett fint och lugnt boende med mycket fina bungalows som vi gärna återvänder till.

Margossa Residence är ett härligt lugnt komplex med tre fint renoverade och väl tilltagna bungalows runt en fin pool och trädgård. Vi trivdes mycket väl i det väl tilltagna boendeutrymmet med egen fin uteplats nära poolen. Frukosten inkluderade färsk frukt varje dag och vi erbjöds också möjligheten att testa en lokal Sri lankesisk frukost med flera olika curries och hoppers vilket var kul. Boendet kändes mycket säkert. Vi bemöttes på ett underbart sätt och det var speciellt trevligt att under frukostarna få tala med personalen om deras liv och hur Sri Lanka fungerar.

− För allra högsta betyg hade vi uppskattat lite mer variation och lite roligare bröd och pålägg på frukosten. Vi tror också att ett extra värde kunde leverats med lite genomtänkta tips på restauranger och besöksmål i t ex en guide som boendet tagit fram även om det inte är så svårt att själv söka förslag på internet.

Fantastic stay!

We love everything about this place! It was our second visit and we can only recommend this accommodation. There are only 3 bungalows, situated around a nice pool. They are very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast is lovely with fruit, eggs and toast. We also had hoppers one morning. The staff, Dush and his sister, are just amazing and made us feel at home right away. We hope to return soon ❤️
