The view at sunset was incredible and village had such an authentic atmosphere - no tourists, a lovely restaurant at the top of the hill to walk to, roosters as alarm clocks.

− I wouldn't change a thing- maybe just a motion activated light on the patio to get in at night without tripping

Nikos’ traditional stone house is a postcard! So sweet and perfectly comfortable for a couple, would even be fine for families. It’s in a great spot in the middle of the island, you need transport but then exploring by car is so easy. It’s quiet and rural and there are chickens and wildlife all adding to the charm. Nikos lives on Kos island and is helpful and warm and friendly and can give you any advice you need.

− The only slight downside for me (possibly a plus for some :D) is that there is no washing machine and we weren’t really there long enough to locate a laundrette so I’d take some handwashing products next time or some extra bits and leave the laundry for when I get home!

The charm of the past but with today's comforts

This place is lovingly cared for, is well-equipped and is full of old world charm. It is great to be far from the madding crowd, but Kos town is only a 20 minute drive away. There are plenty of eating facilities within a 5 minute drive or a taverna serving simple dishes just 5 minutes on foot. The very touristy Zia is a 5 minute drive.

− Not a problem for me but just a warning that this property could be a source of problems for people with mobility issues as the beds have to be climbed into. Unless you just want to sit and relax or walk locally you need personal transport.

emplacement idéal pour découvrir l'île en voiture. A 20min à pieds ou 3min en voiture de Zia, village pittoresque au couchers de soleil époustouflants. Très bien équipé, rien à redire.
