Darko, the host - what a lovely person! He is very friendly, welcoming, flexible and helpful. This is a family owned home, not a company - always a plus. The location is incredible, right on the water you can easily walk into the sea and swim in the calm water of the bay. The pool is a really good size for swim and games, and at the right temperature for sunny days - perfect for families with kids. The jacuzzi is perfect addition for when the sun goes down. Zaton is a small quiet town, not far from Dubrovnik; we found it very peaceful and enjoyed being out of the busy city. There are small supermarkets about 10 min walk, pretty well stocked. Theres a bigger one about 10-15 min drive. Ubers to Dubrovnik cost around €12-15 and easily found. Everything you need is provided in the villa, it’s full equipped including all you need in the kitchen, pool toys, beach towels, etc. We will definitely be back. Thank you Darko!

A perfect stay in stunning surroundings with a beautiful villa

Villa Dubravka was an amazing place located in the beautiful and peaceful bay of Zaton, surrounded by mountains. The villa itself has been recently renovated, so everything was in excellent condition. It had all the activities we could wish for: a heated outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, kayaks, table tennis, a grill, and a well-equipped kitchen. Our host, Darko, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The weather in late April to early May was perfect and sunny, which made the experience even better. We were a group of six colleagues, and the accommodation was ideal for us.

Location is beautiful, lovely bay. Easy walking to small supermarket and a couple of restaurants. 20 min drive in to Dubrovnik city. The villa is very spacious and the outside very generous size, Our host couldn't have been more helpful. Canoes and Kayaks were good fun. Great day trip out on a boat arranged by the hosts nephew. Wonderful to see some of the islands. Slightly reluctant to say more as we hope to book again!!

Villa Dubravka is an amazing location for a holiday and even better than the photos show. Zaton is a charming small town on the sea with a few good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. The villa itself is right on the waters edge and swimming each morning in the sea was a highlight. The house is large, clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We loved playing water polo in the pool and kayaking on the sea in the kayaks. Darko the owner is a lovely man and so helpful. He is always available to help or give tips on what to see / do. Thanks Darko for the loan of your beautiful house !
