Damp, smelly, standing water inside after rain, tricky rooftop stairs. Finish property first!
1.0The person who met us was very friendly and forthcoming. She was however not the owner. Fantastic help from the Booking.com Service Team.
− We would like to inform you about some issues at the Villa: - Hard to find; no clear road signs - Access road untarred for last 200m; slippery, standing water and dark (no lampposts) - Dangerous stairs to the rooftop terrace: high, slippery steps, at the foot an iron lid and a concrete wall Ouch! - Rainwater in front of bedrooms does not run off; after a rain shower it is very slippery; risky - Unbearable humidity, smelly, despite ACs, as many walls show large damp areas - Even fresh towels failed to dry after taking a shower - 'Open plan' includes ~1-2m2 of standing water inside, water-blocking the front door - During rain plaster came off walls; more to be tiled - AC overflow ends in a bucket outside the front door; when full (<1 day) floods the porch - Internet stopped during a thunderstorm - no alternative communication available Conclusion: The property needs work before it can be marketed P.S. Despite fantastic help from Booking.com Service Team, the property owner, remained unreasonable and in denial

6.0The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed however we did not cook at all. It was quiet but so is the whole area.
− 1. There was mold on the bedroom walls that had a distinct smell, even the pillows smelled of it. 2. The sofa is just a mattress with pillows next to a wall - not comfortable at all. 3. WiFi was unstable and slow + there was a power outage while hotels nearby were fine. 4. Geckos and ants everywhere, not possible to clean all tables every day.

10.0Beautiful location. Right next to Aling-aling waterfall. Remember to bring everything you need as it's a very remote location but during the day the view is absolutely wonderful and during the night you could benefit from the serenity provided by this area - only the stars and the frogs' singing.
