We enjoyed absolutely everything about our stay here. Our host Kadek was so attentive and if an issue arose, she was there instantly to take care of it. We had everything that was promised plus more. She even brought us young coconuts, and pomelo fruits from her own trees to enjoy. With rice fields on one side and grape vineyards on the other it was very quiet and an incredible place to stay. *Note that this is an open-air property. There is no roof covering the pool, kitchen or living area. There will be quite a few uninvited guests. 😂

− The distance on the booking was misleading. It stated that the property was 1 and 1/2 hrs. from the airport, when in fact it was a 4-hour drive.

The villa is very cosy, clean and has everything you need for a longer or shorter stay. Quiet neighbourhood, great view. I would definitely come back

− You will need your own transport. This is not a disadvantage, it's just good to know in advance

overall we enjoyed our stay but we wouldn’t stay again

yogi the housekeeper was amazing! if we could write the review on him it would be 5 stars. he was so accommodating and helpful with everything we asked for, he went to markets to get us food etc, sorted laundry / motorbike and was super friendly. came and brought us water / changed gas and cleaned the pool / villa whenever we asked :) villa itself is beautiful and very modern. smoothie blender and coffee machine was very useful really nice roof terrace with loungers for sunbathing super nice quiet location in the rice fields close enough to local amenities and lovina beach the pool was cleaned regularly and was very nice owner was very kind to give me a bottle of wine and chocolates on my birthday which was greatly appreciated.

− some of the rules the owner implemented for us we thought were unfair. we booked to stay for 15 nights right over Christmas and new year and really wanted to cook and bbq here. we were told we were not allowed a bbq and the owner was quite rude and passive aggressive during this conversation. we understood that maybe they had some problems with other guests leaving mess but we were very respectful guests and felt we were being blamed for their mistake. we even offered to pay large deposits incase any bbq left mess but were told firmly it was no bbq. also the Villa slept 4 guests and so last minute my partners brother and his girlfriend decided to come stay with us for only a couple of nights over Christmas. we didn’t see it necessary to inform the owner as the Villa slept 4 and it was only last minute plan for a couple of nights - not the whole stay. within 1 hour of the guests arriving we received a message from the owner asking who they were and what they were doing at the Villa. we explained the circumstance and then were told we had to pay extra for them - he even tried to charge us more than what it was on booking.com. so this was quite disappointing and also made us feel like we were being watched. there was also just a couple of minor things we felt could be improved, for instance there was only left a couple of toilet rolls when we were staying for over 2 weeks which meant we had to buy more. also in the shower there was literally enough shower gel / shampoo for one shower, so again meant we had to buy. also the tap in the kitchen was broken and didn’t have any hot water so we had to boil the kettle everytime we needed to wash up. overall the Villa was lovely
