Great location, nice living room

− Second sleeping room could be better, shower is also not perfect

− This is incorrectly labelled luxury, there is absolutely no luxury here whatsoever, this is more like camping! We encountered a drain smell on entry, which changed to a stale, musty smell in the bedrooms. The place was filthy, from drawers and cupboards, to the floors and bathroom, with the toilet seat even having poo left on it! The bedrooms were kitted out with ancient, stained, hard sheets and pillows so thin, we had to immediately buy new ones. There are no luxury fittings, just tired, stained and cheap furniture, old and stained bed linen and tiny, hard, stained towels - strictly 1 per person as with cups, plates etc too. The owner restricts the use of air-conditioning to just 9pm to 8am, despite 33c heat. The local agent did send cleaners on the second day to give the place a quick clean and at least add some soft bed linen and they negotiated with the owner to allow air-conditioning from 5pm to 8am so that we could at least shower without sweating. With the heat, we were forced to live in the dark with shutters closed until the owner controlled air-conditioning started up and unable to sit on the cheap, plastic and uncomfortable sun loungers by the freezing cold pool all day. To make matters worse, sitting outside either by the pool or to eat, was uncomfortable due to the never ending supply of wasps and mosquitoes. Booking.com should be ashamed advertising this as luxury, it's simply catfishing, this is a budget villa and nothing more. Having stayed in over 50 villas over 40 years, this is worst I have encountered since 1992 and, as it was so uncomfortable, we left 2 days early to return to the luxury of home.
