− there is most likely an ongoing issue with the kitchen pipes, where unpleasent smell spreaded in that space. it come and goes. the host did send someone over, but it reduced the severity, not really fixed it as far as we can tell.

Very spacious and well equipped villa Great seafront location Ten minutes walk to main coral bay restaurants/ bars/ supermarkets Comfy beds Internet TV - great choice of channels

− Lacked privacy as the hedge at end of the ‘garden’/ pool area is not that high so a constant procession of walkers/ joggers etc coming by and didn’t feel comfy leaving phones / iPods etc by pool due to gap in hedge. Some evenings groups of youths were hanging around the benches ( other side of the hedge) which made eating outside a bit public. Could do with a manual explaining how to use the washing machine / Internet TV etc

Great villa in a super location with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Location was excellent just a short walk from the coral bay strip. Large garden area to enjoy the pool. Safe parking for the car and nice and quiet.

− Only minor issue was the sheets didn’t fit the bed and rucked up every night. Could be easily solved with new sheets and duvet.

Loads of outdoor space, garden was amazing, plenty of space for kids to run round, lovely partial Seaview, good location for bars/restaurants, and local bus. Very comfortable beds

− Not enough comfortable lounge type furniture inside or out for the 6 person occupancy. Also lots of glass furniture so not ideal for little kids. Pool was lovely but too cold for children (and pregnant daughter) but would have cost £500 extra to heat for 1 week, it was warmer in the sea (october) Manager visited on 1st day then didn't respond to messages, location of bins, which were needed daily, not clear so having to carry rubbish around the local area for disposal.

The villa was fine but Coral Bay itself was deserted. The quietest holiday we have ever experienced

The villa was fine

− Out of your control, but we had no warning of long-running road works which have completely closed the main road through Coral Bay. Cars and pedestrians are denied all access, and virtually all the bars, restaurant, car hire and shops are shut. The place was like a ghost town and will remain so until at least the end of June. We eventually found 3 restaurants open with skeleton staffing, and access through their back doors via the car-park. There was only one shop open and nowhere to hire a car. This was not the holiday we were expecting and future bookings should be advised what is going on

After the first hurdle when we arrived at 23:00 hrs being told we had not booked the villa then being placed in another

Property was clean and location good once town although not what we had booked through booking.com.

− Not what we had booked. Also the whole of Coral Bay town was closed with major improvements going on while we were there and for another 7 weeks approx. No one informed us of this when booking.
