Unterkunft direkt in der Sangalle Oase
6.0Wir haben eine ruhige Unterkunft in der Sangalle Oase für eine Zwischenübernachtung unserer Zweitageswanderung im Colca Canyon gesucht. Der Gastgeber war freundlich, und er bot bei unserer Ankunft ein schmackhaftes Abendessen zu einem fairen Preis (30 oder 35 PEN) an, wenn man bedenkt, daß man keine Alternative hat. Es gab um 19h für alle Gäste jeweils einen großen Teller Suppe und als Hauptgang Hühnchen mit Soße und Reis oder eine vegetarische Alternative. Da wir erst gegen 17h ankamen, war es uns zu kühl, um noch in den Pool zu springen. Wie die anderen Gäste hielten wir nur noch die Füße hinein.
− Je nachdem, aus welcher Richtung man kam, mußte man sich durchfragen, um das Hotel zu finden. Zum Glück ist die Oase nicht sehr groß. Wir haben nirgends ein Schild gesehen und wußten erst, als wir an der Rezeption gefragt hatten, daß wir richtig waren. Das Zimmer hatte keinen richtigen Bodenbelag (Estrich?), daher war die Sauberkeit schwierig einzuschätzen. Außer dem Bett gab es noch einen Stuhl und ein Regal als Ablagemöglichkeit, was auf unserer Perureise die Ausnahme war. Darauf rieselte jedoch der Putz - also nicht die oberste Ablagefläche benutzen! Das Zimmer hatte auch ein Fenster, das jedoch nicht verdunkelt werden konnte und zudem von außen einsehbar war. Zum Glück war das Fenster in einer Nische im hinteren Zimmerbereich. Das Bad wirkte dagegen recht ansprechend, aber aus der Dusche kam nicht viel Wasser, und man mußte Geduld haben, bis es warm wurde. Die Anlage hat sicher schon bessere Tage gesehen, man könnte mit ein bißchen Aufwand viel mehr daraus machen. Dann würde das auch eher den Preis rechtfertigen, der vergleichsweise doch etwas höher lag.

Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
