Amazing experience

9.0The staff was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. It was a very comfortable stay with good quality facilities. It was located in an excellent place with a beautiful view and was also very hygenic.
− At first, the bathrooms had had a bad smell.
Beautiful & Quiet no frills guest house; but not value for money at current prices!
7.0The property is located just far from the crowded mall area. It is peaceful and aesthetically built. The property has adequate parking, but the road to it is narrow (though well paved) and winding.
− The room had almost no amenities, like toiletries, slippers, tissue papers, etc. The bathroom ventilation was poor and the bathing area definitely needs more maintenance and upgrades. The food options were extremely limited and delayed, and the breakfast was a joke for a room costing Rs 10000 per night. Surprisingly, the property owners have a bakery on the mall road with a similar name, but no expertise or food options from that flow in here!
Unreliable shuttle service
7.0Food quality is excellent Location is far from the main lake. They provide shuttle service, but it’s erratic and can leave you frustrated.
− The shuttle service. The driver left us at city centre, telling we can call him back when we want to go back to hotel. He will be there around the same place where we got dropped. When we called him back, he said he’s doing some other duty, and will take 30 minutes and will call back. 30 minutes kept getting extended to 45, 1 hr, 90 minutes. He didn’t answer my calks also for 90 minutes!!! We finally had to hire a cab to return back to hotel. Communication was pathetic.

10.010mins Away from the hustle and bustle of city but enough to enjoy a peaceful vacation. Steep so need to know good incline drive, avoid if you can’t handle narrow lane combined with steep driving. Staff at the cottage can help with driving and parking. Plus they provide car from and to the Mall Road.
A deposit may be required at the property.
