8.0The cabin was rustic but comfortable. Kitchen had full stove and fridge and basic dishes and pots. The location was ideal; quiet but close enough to services and a short drive to Anza Borrego. The bar just down the hill was wonderful too; friendly and cozy, with live music and food on the weekend (Josie's Hideout). My cabin had a fun wood stove as well as regular heat. I highly recommend if you're looking for a Backcountry retreat.
− I would have liked a reading lamp and some basic condiments but no big deal. They did provide coffee.

This was my girlfriend and my second getaway and we loved it. We plan on going back in a couple of months.
10.0The location was great. it was a beautiful drive up to the lodge and it was a great cozy cabin. I enjoyed every aspect of it.
