9.0We liked everything, although we missed the fireplace fire and the warm atmosphere it creates. All the staff we met were very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome. We specifically found Passmore the most pleasant, friendly and helpful person to deal with in the restaurant. He has such a congenial personality and he made us feel that we were very special people and that we deserved special treatment. We really consider him a true asset to Rooiberg Lodge

9.0Always a pleasure staying over, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Food never disappoints and they always accommodate me on late arrival. Waking up in the morning with the sun rising in the Karoo is breathtaking every single time!!!
− Wifi in the rooms isn't great and there is no TV, which is not a bad thing when on holiday but when you are traveling for Business it is not ideal.

10.0⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a truly wonderful stay at Rooiberg Lodge. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful nature and breathtaking scenery. One of the highlights was watching zebras wander right up to the restaurant in the evening – such a special and unforgettable experience. Our chalet was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We especially loved having our own fireplace, which made the evenings warm and cozy. A special thank you to Passmore, who looked after us so well during dinner and at the bar. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Also the massage was also exceptional – one of the best we’ve had and the perfect way to relax in such a peaceful setting. We can highly recommend Rooiberg Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, excellent hospitality, and unforgettable wildlife experiences. We would love to come back!
