9.0Fairy-tale castle in the middle of vineyards…
− Moved rooms three times due to noise issues with other guests. Noone’s fault really but some of the rooms have ancient flooring which can not be replaced. Not a problem if upstairs guests are aware of that and respectful of others; problematic if they are not…

10.0Das Schloss ist wunderbar hergerichtet worden und lässt an Komfort nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, die Restaurantküche ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr zukommend. Das Kaminzimmer am späten Nachmittag war sehr entspannend. Besonders schön war der Infinity-Pool.
− Das Duschen in der freistehenden Badewanne in unserer Paul IV Suite war eine Herausforderung. Ein 2. TV im Wohnzimmer wäre wünschenswert.

10.0This stay was one of the best castle stays we have ever had. This castle—I don’t even feel like calling it a hotel, as it is far beyond what a hotel usually offers—truly blew our minds. We were greeted by very warm and friendly staff who gave us a tour of the property and guided us to our room. The heated pool and spa were the first things we tried, and they were absolutely fantastic, offering beautiful views of Bolzano and the tranquillity of the village. Later, we had dinner at the restaurant, where we encountered another reason that made this stay so special: Stefanie. We met her during dinner while she was welcoming guests, seeing others off, and making sure everything was as spectacular as it should be. We also met her at breakfast on both mornings and around the property, which really showed the care and attention they give to their guests. This made our stay feel truly personal and special. Overall, this stay was beyond imagination, and we would definitely come back if they continue to welcome foreign guests.

Ruhe, Luxus und Wohlbefinden - 100% Empfehlung
10.0Ich war in verschiedenen 5-Sterne-Hotels, aber keines toppt bisher das Schloss Freudenstein. Ich versuche, all die Eindrücke zusammenzufassen: Die Sauberkeit war absolut spitze. Vom Parkplatz über die Auffahrt, den Garten und den Spa-Bereich bis hin zum Zimmer. Es ist ein perfekter Ruheort. Ich glaube, es gibt nur 16 Zimmer in diesem wirklich großen Anwesen, was für sehr viel Ruhe sorgt. Der Spabereich ist wunderschön, mit einem perfekten Ausblick auf Bozen. Sowohl im 30 °C warmen Panoramapool (100 % perfekte Temperatur) als auch in der Panoramasauna und im Ruheraum. Das Personal war in allen Bereichen aufmerksam, zurückhaltend und außerordentlich freundlich. Frühstück: Eier, Speck, Pancakes und Kaffee werden bei der sehr zuvorkommenden Bedienung bestellt und persönlich in Top-Qualität zubereitet. Das restliche Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich, üppig und von sehr hoher Qualität. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls auf höchstem Niveau. Als Laie würde mich ein Michelin-Stern nicht wundern. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, à la carte oder ein 4-Gänge-Menü (meine Empfehlung) zu bestellen. Es war den Preis definitiv wert. Die Umgebung lädt zum weitläufigen Spazieren und Bummeln ein. Jedes Eck in und um diese Unterkunft ist wunderschön gepflegt, dekoriert und aufgearbeitet. Parken kann man direkt an der Unterkunft. Bei der Anreise fährt man entweder nach oben oder man parkt unten (vor Ort ist eindeutig, was ich meine), checkt ein und bekommt anschließend das Gepäck per Golfkart vom Auto bis aufs Zimmer gebracht. Dazu kommen laufend kleinere Aufmerksamkeiten und Erfreulichkeiten. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.
− Einzig – und das erwähne ich nur, um wenigstens irgendetwas als Kritik anzumerken – ist, dass die schönen Elemente, bspw. im Badezimmer, ein klein wenig abgegriffen sind und bei einem Blick unter die Armaturen teilweise eine etwas grobschlächtige Verarbeitung sichtbar wird.
