− We have stayed here before a couple of years and felt it was clean and comfortable. Later we recommended the place for our extended family and friends as well. When I revisited the place this year, the hotel has completely lost its value and nature of hospitality. I booked the stay through booking.com for INR 4177. Since we reached there at 6.30 am in the morning, the reception staff mentioned to me that they will have to charge me another 1800 in order to check in early. Normally just like any other hotel, they could’ve checked me in with the booking. Com reservation and charged me an early check in fee, however the receptionist told me that he had to make another booking reservation form. The hotel was almost empty and I had actually checked with one of their staff during the later part of the stay and found out they were 24% occupancy. Since I was extremely tired and I had absolute no patience to ask them if they can provide an early check in at free of cost just like any other hotel would do. Anyway, after paying we went to the room and found out that the wash basin has an issue with the drain. So basically, once you use the wash basin for brushing your teeth or washing your face, the water doesn’t drain as the knob in the drain doesn’t have any gap to drain the water. Underneath there is a clamp which we have to lift in order to drain the water and I felt that this is absolutely disgusting so I called the reception and told them about the issue. The receptionist told me that he will send someone to check on this and no one came for another 20 mins. Again I called up to follow up and then he said the guy is on the way to my room and a gentleman walked into the room and Checked the issue and very simply said.. this seems to have broken and he will change this immediately. Looking at the nature of it I understood that this Could take time to fix and asked him if I could at least get a change of room.
