1.0− Unfortunately, we encountered an issue due to a lack of clear communication regarding the hotel’s location and accessibility. We booked the hotel with the intention of skiing in Gerlos. However, upon arriving in the evening at 18:00, we discovered that the hotel is not accessible by car and can only be reached by cable car, which operates only until 16:30. After that time, it is not possible to enter or leave the property, meaning guests must remain at the hotel once inside. This information was not clearly communicated at the time of booking and significantly affected our stay, ultimately ruining our holiday plans. Despite explaining that the accessibility limitations were not clearly disclosed (only briefly mentioned in a single message above one photo in the booking listing), the owner refused to offer any form of compensation and charged us the full amount, even though we were unable to stay at the hotel.

10.0Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt im Berghotel, der Ausblick über das Zillertal vom Hotel aus ist Atemberaubend schön! Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familiär und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Es wird ein reichhaltiges Frühstück geboten, bei dem auch einheimische Produkte nicht fehlen. Dank der wunderschönen Lage ist es ein Ort, an dem man dem Alltag hinter sich lassen kann. Der Gerlosstein bietet direkt vom Hotel aus Wanderungen für jeden Geschmack, ob entspannt zum Aussichtspunkt oder zur Karlalm, bis auf Gerlossteinwand über einen der Wanderwege oder den Klettersteig. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei und es war alles andere, als überlaufen 🙃 Ich kann das Berghotel Gerlosstein nur weiterempfehlen!
Schöne Lage..kleines angenehmes Skigebiet..ideal auch für jüngere Kinder!
8.0Schöne Lage und ein schöner Blick ins Tal! Ein kleines Skigebiet fernab der großen Skigebiete. Die Pisten teilt man sich fast nur mit den 3-4 Schulklassen aus dem Hotel, sprich: die Skipisten sind ziemlich wenig frequentiert!
− Da die Schulklassen natürlich etwas agil sind, ist es manchmal in den Hotelgängen etwas lauter! Ab 22h war es dann aber ruhig.
Außergewöhnlich mit Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten (kostenlose Berg-/ Talfahrt)

− Die Anfahrt mit der Gondel, die kostenpflichtig aber die einzige Anreisemöglichkeit ist. Die Fahrt ins große Skigebiet ist recht zeitaufwändig.

9.0Die Besitzer sind sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Das Essen ist lecker, die Lage ist toll. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Please also note that in winter, the hotel can only be reached with the Gerlosstein Cable Car. The fee for the cable car is EUR 9 each person one way. No fee for ski pass holders. Parking is available next to the valley station of the cable car. Operating hours are 08:30 to 16:30. The ticket for the cable car is not included in the rate.
Please note that in the summer, a fee of EUR 10 (1 ride uphill and downhill) is necessary to access the road (gravel road, single track, partly asphalted).Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
