Fijn hotel in wen rustig plaatsje
8.0Rustige locatie in een mooi dorp. Er is niet veel te doen in het dorp, een enkel theehuis (the Painswick Pooch is zeker een aanrader, je kunt er ook lunch halen om mee te nemen op een hike) en een kerk met zeer oude begraafplaats. Onze kamer was ruim (superior double) met fijne badkamer (goede douche). Bed was breed, matras was oke, lengte van het bed is zoals op veel plaatsen in de UK kort (ik vermoed 1.90 meter), vriendelijk personeel, goed eten, fijne parkeergelegenheid. En een leuk terras aan de zijkant van het hotel.
− Het bed was breed, maar wel kort (denk 1.90). Nu blijft dit in de UK een uitdaging als je zelf langer bent dan 1.90 meter. Het was de nacht warm op de kamer door de hoge temperaturen buiten, er is geen airco, wel een ventilator.

− The check in was slightly delayed, there wasn’t enough staff, there was no fridge ( for the price of the room-there should have been) the food was adequate but not amazing. The staff worked very hard but there weren’t enough of them. The location in Painswick was good but Painswick itself had nothing to offer other that a stop off point

This was a great place to stay.

A true gem
10.0Beautifully furnished with great attention to detail very tasteful great location very clean one of the highlights along the court world pass a true gem I was able to check in early, which was so much appreciated as I had had a couple of rough nights along the Cotswolds way. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly the bed was incredibly comfortable bathroom and room size surprisingly big.
