Delightful hotel on the gorgeous island of Flatey - an absolute must if you have the chance to go!!
10.0We loved Hótel Flatey. We had a delightful little room, with a lovely view and were very comfortable. We were met at the ferry and our luggage taken for us so we were free to wander the coastal path to the hotel without worrying about carrying bags. Every member of staff we met was friendly and super-helpful. The restaurant was excellent and we loved the honesty bar for afternoon drinks. A great deal of time was spent sitting at the balcony tables in the sunshine watching the world go by.... it was a truly relaxing couple of days. We will definitely come back!!

Hotel Flatey is only accessible by boat. The Baldur Ferry departs 2 times per day from Stykkishólmur and Brjánslækur.
