6.0Eher beschreibung des Hotels aber nicht viel hat uns gefallen hier. Muss zugeben Lage und Freundlichkeit des Personal hat uns gefallen. Für eine kurze Übernachtung ist das Hotel ausreichend, für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir jedoch eine andere Unterkunft wählen.
− Das Hotel Madi in Izmir ist bereits in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr alt und die Zimmer benötigen dringend eine Modernisierung. Besonders negativ ist die fehlende Schalldämmung. Man hört nahezu alles aus den Nachbarzimmern und vom Flur. Wer einen ruhigen Schlaf sucht, wird hier wahrscheinlich enttäuscht. Für Familien würden wir das Hotel daher eher nicht empfehlen.

7.0Bu fiyata harika bir konaklama sunuyor, son dakika geç giriş ile ilgili bir sorun yaşamadan giriş yapabiliyorsunuz. Otelin önünde dar alanda bir park yeri var ancak yine de yardımcı oluyorlar. 1 gece konaklama için tercih edilebilir
− Klimalar gerçekten gürültülü ve efektif bir soğutma yapmıyor. Kaldığım odanın penceresinden diğer binanın duvarı görünüyordu. Odalarda sigara içilmiş, sinen koku beni rahatsız etti, buzdolabının verimi düşük tam olarak soğutmuyor.
Decent for the prize. Fine spot for overnight stay. Cleanliness could have been better.
7.0We were met with very helpful and polite personel. The breakfast was fine considered the prize. Very good placement.
− Booking.com didn’t showed that this hotel had smoking rooms, when booked it appears as the rooms all are smoking free. They did change our the room for us after the first night. The bathroom could be better cleaned, when received it had some smell and, hair on the floor. In one bathroom the door was not there, so when bathing water was all over the bathroom.

A Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Local İzmir
9.0Our stay at Madi Otel was the perfect base for exploring some of western Türkiye’s most remarkable historical sites, including Ephesus, Pergamum, Pamukkale, and Laodicea—all of which are indeed located in western Türkiye. After long days visiting these incredible places, it was always nice to return to a comfortable room in a neighborhood that felt authentic and welcoming, even if it had a slightly rough-around-the-edges appearance at first. One of our favorite memories was simply sitting outside the hotel and people-watching. It didn’t take long to realize this was where locals gathered, and we always felt at ease spending time there. The restaurants surrounding the hotel served some of the best and most authentic Turkish food we enjoyed during our trip. You know the food is good when you see local people stopping by after work to pick up dinner before heading home. It wasn’t a tourist area—it was everyday İzmir, and we loved experiencing it. Another thing that left an impression on us was seeing many of the neighborhood restaurants put food out for the community cats. It was a small but meaningful act of kindness that reflected the warmth of the people in the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after full days of sightseeing. Everything was well maintained, and we appreciated having a quiet place to relax each evening. The only minor issues we experienced were that the shower water pressure was a bit inconsistent and the air conditioning could have been cooler. However, given that all of Europe was experiencing a heatwave during our stay, it’s not something we would complain about—just something worth noting. What stood out most, however, was the hospitality. The staff at Madi Otel were genuinely kind and helpful from the moment we arrived. Even though it was obvious we were tourists, they treated us with genuine warmth and respect, always happy to answer questions and help however they could.
