Very rare find!
10.0Nicest staff, they help everyone be relaxed and friendly. Incredibly clean, better than most 5 star hotels. Lovely homemade breakfast. Idyllic location. We extended our stay and would love to come back!

10.0We loved the breakfast, in particular the muesli and the excellent omelettes, made to order and using eggs from their own hens - couldn't be fresher. The room was large and the bed comfortable. A bonus was the fact that you can use the breakfast area and its facilities at other times as well, e.g. to eat your bought-in dinner. The surroundings are stunning and a number of attractions such as Hilldene or the Merck forest are within easy striking distance. The proprietor, Alberto, is nice and extremely helpful.

10.0Personable and helpful staff who care about the property and their business. I felt like I was visiting a private property. Comfortable bed and very nice breakfast with real fresh fruit and made-to-order omelets from eggs from chickens on site! The pool was very inviting and the fire pits, too. Thank you Alberto for a great stay!

10.0We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh fruits and plenty of options to choose from. We also enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit and spending time at the pool, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit.
A hidden gem in southern Vermont with the best breakfast ever!
10.0The friendly staff made our stay delightful as well as the most beautiful breakfast every day. The offering was above and beyond anything we expected: fresh seasonal fruit, muesli, cheese slices, home baked muffins and banana bread and our choice of ant type of egg with toast. Highly recommend this hidden gem just outside of Manchester Vermont!
My stay was pleasant but small changes such as more flexible pillows would have made it better.
8.0Alberto was fantastic. He was welcoming and answered all of my questions. Staying at the Lodge was like taking a step back into the 1950s, which being in my 70s I remember. Breakfast was simple but much better than what you would get at a Residence Inn or Fairfield Inn.
− The bed and pillows. The bed was very soft and too close to the floor. Also, the pillows were foam, therefore not very flexible. The a/c unit was quite loud and I finally unplugged it. Getting in and out of the tub to take a shower was a challenge since there were no grab bars.
