7.0In an ideal spot for my walk, comfortable room away from bar so no noise. Staff were friendly, especially the lady who did breakfast

8.0Great location, central for Yorkshire Dales. Accommodation adequate for short stay. Very clean and finished to a good standard. Excellent food, breakfast and evening menu. Staff very attentive and looked after us well. Very pleasant stay.
− Rooms are not visited daily. Towels, crockery and supplies only replaced when requested. Bed not good quality. Parking on site can be an issue.

− Having to pre order breakfast, and paying £20 per head for it was excessive.
Very basic but expensive for what we got. The bed needed throwing out.

− No fan and window only opened a little, so a really hot and difficult night. £120 for a basic room with no breakfast and no fan is very poor value.
