8.0I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Brassey Hotel in Canberra. This heritage-listed property perfectly blends historic charm with contemporary comfort. The rooms are beautifully appointed, but what really stood out were the exceptionally comfortable beds — easily some of the best I’ve slept in at any hotel. I woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The hotel has a wonderful historic feel throughout, with elegant architecture and lovely period details that give it a unique character you don’t find in modern chain hotels. The staff were outstanding — genuinely friendly, helpful, and attentive from check-in to checkout. They made us feel truly welcome. The well-equipped gym was a great bonus, and I also indulged in a treatment at the Hale Spa, which was excellent — relaxing, professional, and a perfect way to unwind. Location is convenient, and the overall atmosphere is calm and refined. We’d definitely return and highly recommend the Brassey Hotel for both business and leisure travellers.
− Only minor improvement would be upgrading the TVs to smart TVs so guests can easily access Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming services.
