A lovely, clean family run hotel in the centre of Samakov. Brilliant alternative to costly Borovets.
9.0Toni, the owner looked after us and is a really nice lady. The room are perfectly fine and very clean and the rate was excellent value for money. The location, i.e. in the centre of Samakov is excellent. We were skiing in Borovets and had a rental car, so it was just a very short drive from the hotel. The restaurants around Samakov are great and are just a short walk from the hotel.
− Not much. There was a guard dog that barked a lot, but that can't be helped I guess. It is a real pity there is no formal connection between the hotel and adjoining the café/restaurant. We would have loved to have had breakfast there in the morning as part of the cost of our stay for a little extra.
Excellent weekend in Hotel Niko Samokov 👌
10.0The location was perfect 5 min walk to centar of Samokov all market was on 5min. Walk Bila, Lidl, etc. and 10-15 minutes drive to Borovets and to don't forget you have free parking front the hotel at any time. The room was very beautiful clean and hot with balcony and nice view to Rila mountain. Personal was very frendly, we ask if we can left room after 4pm because regular time is 12 and they allow us to stay without any charge. I strongly recommend hotel Niko you cannot get better for this price.
