Very nice place to stay at Borkum
8.0Perfect location on the island, close to the train station. Very comfortable rooms and bed. We could have the room earlier than expected. Sauna and pool are available based on booking time slots, so you can have the place only for you.
− There was not microwave in the room but well in the description of it. Breakfast was good but it runs out of some parts of it with the time, better to be early. Local taxes are not included in the price.
Kommen jedes Jahr gerne dort wieder hin.

Noch gerade so akzeptabler Aufenthalt mit Schönheitsfehlern.
5.0Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet so wie die Lage des Hotels. Das Bett war super. Bis auf die unverschämte Rezeptionistin mit wohl polnischen Akzent waren alle anderen Mitarbeiter freundlich. Das Check-in Prozedere bei Ankunft war ok.
− Noch auf der Fähre befindend habe ich von der ,Rezeption' des Hotels vier Mal einen Anruf erhalten von der mir anscheinend aufgebrachten Rezeptionistin mit Ostakzent am Telefon. Über Booking.com hatte ich uns zwischen 16.00 und 17.00 Uhr angekündigt zum Check-in. Dies hat booking.com wohl nicht weitergegeben. Der Check-in geht in diesem Hotel nur von 15.00 bis 17.00Uhr. Diese aus dem Ostblock stammende Rezeptionistin sagte mir am Telefon, dass sie keine große Lust hat uns nach 17.00Uhr zu empfangen in einem unverschämten Ton am Telefon, weil sie unsere genaue Ankunftszeit nicht kannte. Wir waren schon in sehr vielen Hotels zu Gast. So etwas haben wir noch niemals erlebt. Mir ist ein Ohrhörer auf dem Fußboden gefallen und danach unter das Bett. Ich bin regelrecht in Verlegenheit geraten bei dem was ich dort gesehen habe. Dort befand sich eine dicke Schicht Schmutz und Staub. Wir haben das Hotelzimmer danach nicht weiter auf Sauberkeit geprüft, weil wir so etwas niemals machen. Es hat aber dadurch den Anschein geweckt, dass das Hotelzimmer wohl nicht richtig sauber gemacht worden ist. Einige Ausstattungsmerkmale haben gefehlt, die ich jetzt nicht überbewerten will. Es gab dort zum Beispiel kein Kugelschreiber. Das WLAN-Passwort mussten wir über andere Gäste erfragen. Das Check-out Prozedere wurde uns ebenfalls nicht erklärt. Wir hatten telefonisch versucht das WLAN-Passwort über den Eigentümer des Hotels zu erfragen. Dieser war nicht zu erreichen und hat sich erst nach Stunden gemeldet. Die Dusche war sehr schmal. Für Menschen mit üppigen Körpermaßen kann sie ein Problem darstellen. Mit Kosten für das Hotel inklusive Frühstück mit über 600€ für drei Nächte im Juni waren wir eher enttäuscht.
