Very convenient, old style hotel

− The shower was dreadful only some holes worked so you had to dodge the non working holes. No plug sockets near bed to charge phones

8.0The location makes this hotel a great choice, right on the seafront at the Pier. It certainly plays on it's history but is pretty shabby.
− It desperately needs some TLC, for what they charge it feels very tired. The windows, original single glazed sash were too difficult to open/close and were left open. We were on the top floor and I wouldn't like having a child up there. Also no lift, apparently out of use for a long time. The narrow Victorian staircase made lifting a case difficult.
