8.0Lovely old building, yet bedroom was clean and modern. Very friendly staff
− Pool was over heated considering how hot it was outside (29 degrees). We had been hoping to having a refreshing swim.
Faenol Fawr has the potential to be a quality hotel but it requires an upgrade in several areas.
5.0The rural location and historical associations make this a compelling place to try for a short stay. Staff all very pleasant.
− Parts of it needed a clean eg cobwebs in the breakfast room. Our room wasn’t made up during our stay. The breakfast was very basic: no fresh fruit, jars of nuts, dried fruit etc almost empty on both mornings.
